My Smiling Star

My niece just had her first ever sports day, in her school at the Smiling Star.

She even came in 2nd in the race she participated in. So proud of her.

These are my buddies from Willow Avenue Secondary School. ( Has been torn by since, sad.....)

We were supposed to meet up during CNY, our annual get-together. But had to reschedule several times due to family commitments. Guess everyone's busy. With their lives, careers, wives, kids, etc. But we made it finally!!!

I have been thinking of taking portraits of my best pals ever since i have a studio. Glad i had the chance to do that! This is how we look in 22 March 2008!

This is Dorothy's son.

When i am taking kids portraits, parents are always the best assistants. I would always ask daddy and mummy to sit beside me while i snap. It always brings wonderful and surprising results.

Ling Poh's family Portrait

Ling Poh brought his wife and daughter down for a family portrait.

Guess we picked the wrong timing, his girl was a little cranky cos it was near her nap time. For me, she's the first crying baby i shot, a different kind of emotion. Babies DO cry!!!

KHAI & AYU

Had been waiting for KHAI and Ayu's AD since the day i shot their pre-wedding photos.

Love the settings, both the hotel they stayed in (NEW MAJESTIC HOTEL) and the venue of the lunch reception (SAM). The rain was threatening, but we managed to keep ourselves dry.

Peh's Family Portrait

Peh came this afternoon, a wet wet afternoon. Has been raining for the past week. But i like rainy weather, brings down the temperature a little. 这就是新加坡 常年是夏 一雨成秋

Well, just like the weather, his son was not feeling too good, recovering from flu. I guess from the photos, we can tell that he's just tired!!!! Must have hated me snapping photos of him.

Jolene

Quite Impromptu, no markup, no hairdo, no advance notice. She just came to pickup her wedding DVDs while i was setting up the lights. Like the raw feel though...

William and Julie

William and Julie should be very proud of their 2 daughters. They are great models!!!!

Ruth likes to doll up. She kept looking into the mirror while i was shooting. Ha.... girls are girls.........

Esther, the younger one, was a little moody during the shoot. Thanks to Daddy, we managed to capture a few good shots of her!!!! Infact my favourite shots of the session!!!

Esther & William

Esther and William were clients of my Bro-in-law - TINYDOT PHOTOGRAPHY. He was their AD wedding photographer last year. Some of their shots here.

Well, being very productive, a new family member is on his way..... in one month's time....congratulations, Esther and William.

I have roped in a SUPERSTAR to assist me. Kee Huang has been a great help, attending to details and making sure Esther looks her best! She even took some "intimate" shots of Esther!!! But that are for private viewing though :)

Soo Yang

Soo Yang came over for a family portrait session.

Her son looks like a friend of mine, same signature smile with the same bugs bunny teeth, ha........ everytime i asked him questions, he would scratch his head..... so funny.... was teasing him about that..........
